Medical Units Attention Platform for a Public Organization

In this project, I had the esteemed role of leading as the technical director, overseeing a pivotal initiative aimed at establishing a comprehensive tracking system for pharmacies dispensing medicines on behalf of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires. This endeavor held profound significance as it sought to ensure efficient healthcare services for citizens by fostering full traceability of operations related to medicine distribution.

At the core of our objectives was the creation of a robust system capable of monitoring pharmacies, managing subsidies, analyzing statistics on the most needed types of medicines, and implementing preventive measures. As the technical leader, I assumed a multitude of critical responsibilities to steer the project toward success.

My foremost task was to meticulously select and implement the most suitable technologies for development, ensuring seamless alignment with the project's objectives. Leveraging Angular for frontend development, Java for the backend, and a MariaDB database for data storage, we forged a robust technological foundation to support our endeavors.

Furthermore, I collaborated closely with analysts and the Product Owner (PO) to define clear and comprehensive business rules that were seamlessly integrated into the system. Employing agile development methodologies, I orchestrated efficient project management, meticulously ensuring adherence to deadlines while delivering a high-quality product.

In addition, I instituted robust code delivery practices, empowering the quality assurance team to conduct thorough testing in an independent environment, thus guaranteeing the system's reliability.

Throughout the project lifecycle, I led the team in executing multiple specific implementations, exercising precise and effective decision-making at every juncture.

This project afforded me invaluable experience in managing complex technological endeavors, providing deep insights into how technological solutions can significantly enhance people's quality of life. I take immense pride in spearheading this effort and eagerly anticipate future opportunities to apply my expertise in developing innovative solutions.

The successful completion of this project not only showcased my leadership abilities but also honed my skills in project management, technical decision-making, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
